New Series on the Blog: Online Dance Courses

On this blog, we have discussed the use of iTunes U for college level courses around the globe. "Online dance education" is a hot topic on many levels:

  • Will online courses eliminate jobs for dance educators?
  • Quality control?
  • Taking a live art form and shaping it to fit an online format?
  • Can online courses supplement college offerings and bring access to more courses, anywhere in the world?
  • Can online courses support the vast need for more courses and workshops on teaching dance and pedagogy?
